The Center of Wonder is launching the C3 grant initiative, a two year project designed to enhance Jackson’s creative community through partnerships that promote vibrancy in the arts, including youth education and innovative programming.

StoneRiver Foundation plans to invest up to $300,000 over two years in the C3 project.  

C3 will engage donors to raise matching funds to leverage the program.    

Goals of C3:

· Increase project-driven collaboration 
· Increase access to arts and education
· Increase community usage of the Center for the Arts facilities

C3 will offer a structured grant program that will:

· Encourage non-profit organizations to work together (3 required for a grant). 
· Blend each organization’s strengths to produce more vibrant and efficient programs
· Support the generation of innovative ideas in the arts and education community
· Provide professional development and mentoring opportunities for grant recipients

Grants applications deadlines will be staggered from other local grant opportunities

Donations to help fund the C3 program will be applied directly to the funded projects.
