ArtSpot: A sculptural venue for displaying local and regional artists' work.
Summer Solstice Artist: John Frechette
The ArtSpot project began in May of 2007, re-purposing a dormant sign structure as a temporary venue to exhibit public art in in Jackson WY. Located on Broadway, with an average of over 30,000 daily drive-by's the project was an overwhelming success with the community.
ArtSpot v2.0 is an updated and revised concept for the innovative venue. It's numerous improvements include: a hinge system to lower the structure for installations from the ground, a 6 foot by 10 foot display space, and designs torch cut into the structure.
